What times did you all go, maybe we got the cook that didn't care, in fact may have been a trainee with no supervision.
There is no specific part of the menu with special gluten free products. Like the previous comment, u can choose different tortillas.
It was ok. I had a steak burrito. I didn't care for the rice but overall it was pretty good.
Terrible food, service, atmosphere. The meat had the texture and smell of canned dog food. The lighting was awful florescent bright lights. The hard taco was so soaked and soggy that it was inedible. The entire place smelled of strong cleaning chemicals. Our food was served, plopped down in front of us and the waiter walked away immediately. I do not usually complain but this was something I had to mention to save anyone from wanting any time or money if they are not from here. One bite was all I needed to know that I was not going to be finishing it. My husband ate his out of politeness and hating to waste something lol
Was ok but could use better menu's
Love this restaurant. Friendly .Nice environment. Food is very good.
Great food. Great prices. Music and TV channels need to present different music.
The food is excellent!! Ask for Gavin, he's the most attentive server we've ever had there.
Went in for the first time and wouldn't even sit me in a booth because I was alone will never be back
Good food and they always have the game on TV
Delicious, Fair price and good service.
Mediocre mexican food lacking in flavor. Tortilla chips were overcooked - almost burnt. Margarita seemed watered down as did the cheese dip. The red sauce on my enchiladas tasted like beefaroni.
Ceviche is amazing for WV. Bad service sometimes, great service sometimes. Flip a coin and that's how it'll go. Good food.
Staff friendly, got my food fast. Prices are reasonable, and food tastes great.
My family and I eat here often, order different items from the menu and keep returning because the food is always good, always fast and always hot. The only reasons I don't give it a 5-star dating are that it's usually really crowded (but hey, that's the sign of consistently good food) and the food is just a little overpriced. I mean, these are neither expensive(ingredients) nor exotic nor difficult dishes to make, and most of the MANY dishes are quite similar. The cheese dip is a favorite of ours, and usually not thin and watery like you get at some other Mexican places, but a tiny bowl costs the same as several lunch items. It's not outrageous or anything like that, but it's cheese dip, nothing fancy, at all.
We gave this place the benefit of a doubt 3 times. Why? We had hope. The chef does not taste the food, nor does he know of any seasoning. No chorizo, no taste, bland. We love Mexican, but don't even think of this place anymore. It's a joke. No pride in what they serve.
Great service, good atmosphere, and wonderful food at a reasonable price
We had fast and friendly service. Great food, a nice experience.
Overall the food is good but the salsa taste like ketchup
Good Mexican restaurant. Good friendly service.
Very Bad experience. We went in to eat lunch and when the host sat us he didn’t give us any menus. We waited for about 10 min and I had to flag down someone so we could get some menus. The man informed us that we would have to wait a little bit. When we got our menus the man whom I am not sure was our waiter or not proceeded to interrogate my fiancé about something that he said while he walked by. Not a friendly environment at all and we did not feel comfortable eating there so we just got up and left.
Food was totally bland and margaritas were weak
Fast and friendly service, and really good food.
I was in town on vacation and stopped by...excellent place for a quick dinner. Very nice staff and appeared to be frequented by the locals. It was very busy when I was there, but service was quick.
If there was a way to rate it at a negative number, we would!!!We specifically mentioned that we are vegan and requested vegetable fajitas. We even requested no cheese or sour cream, absolutely no animal products. Half way through our meal, we discovered there was a piece of beef in it. See posted picture. On letting the waiter know, we were told, and I quote: ‘we make them in big pans and once in a while some pieces of meat do get mixed up.’ And wait here’s more. I spoke to the manager and he had an even more ridiculous response: ‘I know man, don’t worry, just one or two pieces of beef, but it was mostly vegetables’. And no apologies till I had to give them the dirtiest stern look I could muster in my state of shock. We left the rest of the meal as we didn’t know what would be in the next bit in our ‘almost vegetable’ plate!!!They even charged us for that plate and everything else. Complete non-sense!!!!
The staff here must have been doing this a long time because they NEED A BREAK. They are more concerned with their appearance or phones or anything else accept for the customer. No smiles. Quick but cold attitudes.
Great service and amazing food :) definitely 5 stars
Good food and very reasonable prices.
Very dissapointing. We've been eating here for the last 10 years, faithful customers. Last few visits have been dissapointing. The visit yesterday, will be our last. Was seated with restaurant just half full, not overly busy Sunday afternoon. Server took 10 minutes to even acknowledge us. Walked past us several times.W gave our order, my husband's arrived and was wrong and lacked an extra item he ordered. Server walked away, 20 minutes lapsed, empty drinks on table and empty salsa bowl at the edge begging for a refill. Extra item never brought out, meal was incorrect, drinks never filled etc.. server returned only when my husband left to find the owner. Husband complained to the owner and was told " if service was bad don't leave a tip'. No I'm sorry, no apologizes, no anything. We would've bought more drinks and dessert. Will not be returning. We will drive to the Mexican restaurant 30 minutes away instead of this one nearby.
Typical Mexican restaurant. Tall beers (32oz) for 3.75 and good food. Reasonably priced good service.
Great food at good price. Highly recommended.
Great food and service
Second time we have been there. We were with a large group. Handled us with great care and helpfulness. Food was as good as last time. Make the best Pina colada.
I stopped for lunch at an odd time during the week, 3:00 PM. The service was prompt and courteous, and the food was great. Restaurant was well lit and clean. Can’t ask for more!
Great food and wonderful staff.
Very boring Mexican food, from my taste. I used to live down on the border - so I have some pretty strict Mex-food standards, but even for classic tx-mex this food was boring & bland. If you don't want spice or flavor this will be your place. I will say though, that it was good customer service - even under the conditions of COVID and being super busy with take out orders (some people really seem to like this place, like my father-in-law who recommended it - just not I). Place was clean. People were friendly. Food was boring.
The food was amazing. Staff was attentive and quick with our drink orders and helpful with the menu.
Great food and service, reasonable prices. Casual atmosphere, quiet
Great service good food
This place has a long history of serving consistent food fairly quickly. But, it gets a little crowded sometimes and isn't well lit.
On this trip the server threw down menus and walked away. We waited 5 minutes and still no one had come back to the table. As we got up to leave the served asked from the back of the resturant "you leaving or what". I would have been a little more understanding if the place had been packed but it wasn't.
Food was awesome but the server we had tonight sucked I will still eat here anytime i just know what servers nit to have and will be bold enough to asj for the right ones
it's hard to hate this place because of how cheap and fast it is but the quality obviously takes a hit. sometimes it's either absurdly greasy or they fill items inconsistently with either a mound or steak or a mound of cheese no in between. Service has always been good though, just don't come here expecting a fine dining experience and you'll be ok, it might help to get drunk first too.
Food was good....service was good! Traveling so not a regular
Loved the food at this place ..We got the chicken fajitas with chorizo and fried tilapia which was scrumptious. Fish, guacamole and salad were all very fresh.Affordable place with excellent service and friendly staff in a very welcoming atmosphere.
Food was good!! An came out fast!! Great service as well
Salsa was spicey. Chips not great not bad. Chicken chimmie deep fried was good. Portion size was large and price very reasonable.
Excellent fresh food at a great price. Large portions. Good people and kid friendly.
A great place to take the family for something more than fast food!
There's no other mexican place like it! I absolutely love it. It's usually very clean and the food comes out hot & fresh in no time. Only reason I'm not giving it five stars is because the last two times I've been there, our waiter wasn't very good. He wasn't very attentive to his customers. I still love going there though.
Great place to relax and enjoy a great meal. Management and staff are always friendly and fast. Seriously, treat yourself and support these fine folks.
Easy access with my big rig
